Lyne Ecker

Lyne Ecker hails from Quebec and was born and raised in Montreal. Lyne has lived and worked across Canada from Quebec to Banff and points between. She currently makes her home with her two boys and Peter, her husband, right here in Winnipeg. She enjoys family, music, gardening, and travelling.

Seeking new horizons outside of Quebec, Lyne moved to Banff, a top Canadian tourist destination, to begin her serving experience. Little did she know that Japanese, not French, was the second official language of that town and she didn’t learn much English until she met Peter. It was a great experience!

Lyne graduated from the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality in Quebec and is currently the owner of Cornerstone Hospitality, representing Rational Canada, the world’s only Self Cooking Centre. She takes pride in selling the best culinary equipment on the market. Lyne brings “Front of the House” expertise to the Culinary Community and specializes in professional hospitality training. Her professional hospitality background, on top of her accounting skills, helps her in her challenging job at McEcker Food Productions of ‘keeping the boys real’.
