The members and writing team are recognized in the music industry, some with overwhelming success (programmer, Jimmy Barr, is also the programmer for the renowned trip-hop phenomenon Portishead, England; musician Dale Wallace is from the 2008 Grammy nominated Emerson Drive; and Chris Burke-Gaffney (The Pumps, Orphan, Vatican Records, Chantal Kreviazuk). LOAD's, nucleus consists of guitar player Johnny Stewart (Red Fisher, Mico, The Black Halos, Burn the 8 Track, Projektor, Oakalla), bassist Avi-G, (Ragamaroons and various ethnic, symphonic and jazz ensembles) and singer Luce, the perfect blend of Debra Harry, Chrissie Hynde, Bon Scott, Perry Farrel and Chet Baker.

LOAD has a great track record and a long standing, strong work ethic. The band was nominated for Performer Of The Year by the Prairie Music Awards for their outstanding performances and albums "Encoded and Dirty" and "Delicates" released only 1 year apart from each other, and LOAD was the first band from Manitoba to be invited to play at the prestigious SxSW music festival in Austin, Texas.

LOAD arranges great great music and has a keen sense of where it fits in the marketplace. Innovative and provocative artwork backs up the project. LOAD is set to release their 3rd album.
